The Wethersfield Public Schools Instructional Technology Team endeavors to engage learners in high quality learning experiences across content areas and support our students’ growth as responsible, respectful, and effective ‘digital citizens’ through integration of digital learning tools.


2019-2020 Department Priorities

  • Foster a culture of embedded instructional technology to transform student learning and encourage inquiry and critical thinking across content areas.
  • Support and improve our 7-12 1-to-1 Chromebook initiative through ongoing professional learning, instructional support, and a focus on using technology to transform instruction.
  • Develop and implement an embedded K-12 digital citizenship curriculum across content areas.
  • Review current use of instructional software and applications for alignment with curricular goals and individualized learning needs.
