Welcome to PAC

Our Parent Action Committee works throughout the year to benefit the school community and create positive experiences for our students, families, and staff. Teachers, families, and administration all work together to provide activities and events that will benefit all of SDMS. We sponsor grade-level dances, fund supplies for field day, purchase the 8th grade step up gift, bring in assemblies, celebrate our staff, and more! This is accomplished through our membership drive, fundraisers, and the social events enjoyed by our students. Any support you provide is always greatly appreciated.

PAC volunteers organize and sponsor social events and dances for the students. We encourage all students to attend and be a part of these activities, which help build peer relationships and foster independence. We welcome all parents and guardians to participate or volunteer in whatever capacity they are able. PAC meetings are held monthly on (usually) the third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM in the SDMS Media Center. Meetings will include staff or community presentations providing valuable parent information. All are invited to attend.

PAC Table at Open House on September 19th - Come see us and learn more about our organization
7th Grade Fall Dance at SDMS on October 25, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Clothing Drive on November 19-22 - drop off no later than Friday at 3:00 P.M.
8th Grade Winter Dance on December 6, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 P.M.
Dodgeball Tournament on March 28, 2024 from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. - get your teams of 6 ready!!
