Wethersfield Public Schools are committed to protecting the privacy of its community and utilizing technology to provide students with a safe and engaging educational experience. Wethersfield Public Schools complies with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). For more details on FERPA, please visit the U.S. Department of Education's FERPA webpage.

Effective July 1, 2018, any software/website/app that collects student data must also comply with recent legislation - CT P.A. 16-189

WPS Teacher FAQ

I want to use a website/app that requires students to log in or collects student data and is not already listed on the WPS database. What should I do? Please contact Dawn Campbell (dcampbell@wethersfield.me) for K-6 inquiries or Dr. Christina Zlatin (czlatin@wethersfield.me) for 7-12 inquiries. Provide the name of the website or app and a brief description of how you plan to use the site/app in your classroom.
