District Reopening Framework
For Students & Families

The Central Connecticut Health District (CCHD) encourages all Connecticut residents to get their annual flu shot. Due to Covid-19 concerns, CCHD will be hosting eight DRIVE THRU flu clinics during the month of October 2020 amongst our four district towns.
Please find CCHD’s 2020 Flu Clinic Press Release containing clinic dates, times and locations. Information on the influenza virus, CDC statistics, and changes to 2020-2021’s flu vaccine composition are included for your reference here.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our October flu clinics!
Breakfast and lunch for remote learners is available Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM to noon, at Wethersfield High School. Please use the Jay Street entrance off of Wells Road to access the WHS Community Entrance. An online order form for each student in the household must be completed.
Meals will be charged to the student's meal account based on the school he/she attends and whether he/she qualifies for free or reduced meals. The order form will be available from 3 PM the day prior to 8:30 AM on the morning of the meal service. Please remember to choose whether you would like a pre packaged breakfast with lunch so the student can have breakfast for the next morning. All meals are unitized, meaning they all MUST include a milk, vegetable, and fruit.
