Message from the Superintendent

  • After consultation with the Central Connecticut Health District and in light of the current public health situation, the Wethersfield Public Schools will close from Monday, March 16th through Monday, April 20th.
  • During this closure, WPS and Chartwells are pleased to offer FREE breakfast and lunch for all Wethersfield children ages 18 and under. Click here for details.
  • Students in grades 3-6 were provided Chromebooks to bring home to access the district’s online resources.
  • Afterschool and evening programs in district buildings have ceased.
  • As this unprecedented situation continues to unfold, information will continually be provided to keep you informed and aware.
